Basic EKG Course
Have you always wondered what your telemetry tech was talking about when they told you your patient just had a run of VT?
Would you like to expand your skills as a nurse or maybe get more prepared to take that ACLS course?
Then this course is for you! This one-day basic EKG course has been developed to introduce the health care professional to a systematic approach to cardiac rhythm analysis and identification. At the end of this course, the participants will have the tools they need to recognize the various cardiac rhythms and differentiate the various arrhythmias, particularly those that could be life-threatening for our patients. Arrhythmia concepts will be presented in a series of step-by-step tools starting from the most basic and proceeding to the advanced. The participant in this course must be self-directed in order to meet the learning objectives. This is only a beginning EKG interpretation course. It prepares the beginning EKG student for the basics of EKG rhythm analysis.
